Tom the cat (Tom & Jerry)

http://youtu.be/rdNdmc83xe4
Tom, oh Tom. Tom knows all about the cartoon struggle. Everyone knows that a cat is supposed to protect the house from mice, but it seems that Tom needs protection from himself and Jerry…Tom is just a house cat trying to do his job of keeping the house rodent free…let’s just say he isn’t so successful. Poor Tom 😦

Dick Dastardly & Muttley

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLSIU9BG41U

“In Wacky Races, Dick Dastardly was one of the racers who competed in every episode for first place in a long and hazard-filled cross-country road rally. As his name implies, Dastardly aimed to win solely through cheating and trickery. His race car, named β€œThe Mean Machine,” featured all sorts of devious traps for him to use against his opponents. Dastardly was always accompanied by his dog Muttley who has a very distinctive emphysemic laugh.” –http://listverse.com/2008/01/24/top-10-cartoon-villains/

Bluto vs. Popeye

“Bluto is the arch enemy of Popeye and, like Popeye, wants to do the dirty with Olive Oyl. Despite having a superior strength to Popeye, he is usually beaten because of the super strength Popeye gains through eating spinach. There are some cartoons that show Popeye and Bluto as friends and Navy buddies, with Bluto usually turning on Popeye when an object of interest (usually Olive) is put between them.” – http://listverse.com/2008/01/24/top-10-cartoon-villains/

Yosemite Sam Struggle

“Another archenemy of Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam is an animated prospector who hates rabbits. It happens that Bugs Bunny crosses his path many times, usually getting the best of the crotchety old cowboy with the quick temper.

When his temper explodes, as it often does, his guns can blaze as seen in this barroom altercation in one of his television episodes.

Yosemite Sam is no match for Bugs Bunny, though. It is obvious that Sam β€œcrosses the line” in gullibility.

Created in 1945, Yosemite Sam was rough and tough. But for some odd reason, he often waxed religious immediately before finishing off Bugs, by saying, β€œSay your prayers, rabbit.” In the meantime, his nemesis would outsmart him and foil his victory.” – http://www.examiner.com/article/another-bugs-bunny-nemesis-yosemite-sam

Wile-E-Coyote

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsD-sePT3tY

“Wile Ethelbert Coyote seems to have an endless supply of Acme tools that he can use against the innocent Roadrunner. In every episode he attempts to destroy the Roadrunner with a bag of tricks that would make any terrorist envious. Thankfully he usually fails and blows himself up (something else the terrorists are probably familiar with).” –http://listverse.com/2008/01/24/top-10-cartoon-villains/
